Our History

Govier Brothers Mortuary was started in 1950 by George and Everett Govier. The brothers owned and operated the funeral home until 1983. The Govier's retired but the name and dedication to customer service has never changed. Govier Brothers Mortuary is owned and managed by Grant Chapin, Doug Gaston and Todd Eberle.

On January 1, 2018 Govier Brothers Mortuary is proud to announce that it has purchased the Arnold and Mullen Funeral Homes from Tiff Varney. Mr. Varney has retired but we will continue to keep the locations in the towns of Arnold and Mullen. We are here to serve the families of the Sandhills of Nebraska.
