Rosella Geiser

Rosella M Geiser, 84, of Broken Bow, Nebraska passed away on September 2, 2021, at Quality Senior Village in Broken Bow.

Rosella was born August 4, 1937, in Arnold, Nebraska to Byrne and Flora (Parsons) Beatty.  She graduated from Arnold High School.

Rosella was united in marriage to Allen Geiser on March 17, 1957, in Arnold, Nebraska.  They resided on the farm west of Merna until moving to Broken Bow in 1997. 

She truly enjoyed her family and church.  Rosella had many hobbies that included gardening, decorating cakes, toll painting, quilting, sewing, and cooking.   She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Merna, where she played the piano and organ, and sang for various events and community choirs.  She was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Eastern Star.

Survivors include her children, Colleen Peterson of Broken Bow; Wayne (Mona) Geiser of Merna; Kyle (Annette) Geiser of Merna; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Les & Sandra Geiser of Tabernash, Colorado; sister-in-law, Phyllis Maloney of Port Charolette, Florida; six grandchildren, Ben Peterson, Petersburg; Jessie (Jeramy) Bloomer, Callaway; Jake Geiser, Merna; Cole (Kayla) Geiser, Merna; Trent Geiser, Merna; Tara Geiser, Merna; seven great grandchildren, Rylee Bacon, Petersburg; Spencer Bloomer, Lincoln; Lila Bloomer, Callaway; Kyle Bloomer, Callaway; Chloe Bloomer, Callaway; Brody Geiser, Merna; and Bentley Geiser, Merna; and many nieces and nephews.

Rosella is preceded in death by her husband, Allen; daughter LuAnn; parents Byrne & Flora (Parsons) Beatty, and brother Don Beatty.

Funeral services will be Monday, September 6, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow, NE with Pastor Bill Williams officiating. The funeral will be livestreamed.  Burial will follow in the Cliff Cemetery, west of Merna. Memorials are suggested to AsceraCare Hospice.  A visitation will take place on Sunday, September 5th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Govier Brothers Mortuary.
