Patricia “Patty” Andersen

September 25, 1952 – October 17, 2025

With heavy hearts, we share that Patricia “Patty” Andersen, 73, of Halsey, Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Patty was born on September 25, 1952, in Lincoln, Nebraska, to Burdell and Patricia Seeley. She was the third of five children — Marge, Marilyn, Johna, and John. Patty grew up surrounded by love, laughter, and strong family ties that shaped the kind, caring woman she became. As a young girl, she cherished being her dad’s sidekick on the family ranch, creating memories that stayed close to her heart throughout her life.

On December 31, 1972, Patty married the love of her life, Darrell Andersen. Together they built a wonderful life and raised two children, Riley Andersen and Marci Drumheller, who were the true center of her world.

Patty was known for her kindness, quick wit, and easy laugh. She had a gift for making everyone feel welcome — she never met a stranger, only friends she hadn’t gotten to know yet. She loved her family deeply, especially her grandchildren, who brought her endless joy and pride.

Patty found beauty in life’s simple moments: morning coffee on the porch with Darrell, shopping trips, attending her grandchildren’s events, and long chats with friends. Her warmth, humor, and genuine heart touched all who knew her.

Though our hearts are broken, we find peace knowing she is in the loving arms of our Lord, reunited with her parents and her sister Marilyn.

Patty is survived by her husband, Darrell Andersen of Halsey; her children Riley (Miranda) Andersen of Sidney and Marci Drumheller of Kearney; her beloved grandchildren Gavin and Grant Drumheller of Kearney, and Logan Hall and Ella Andersen of Sidney; her sisters Marge Thompson of Alliance and Johna Eaton of Broken Bow; her brother John (Karyn) Seeley of Dunning; brothers-in-law Allen (Diane) Andersen and Randy (Peg) Andersen of Thedford; and mother-in-law Nadene Andersen of Burwell.

She will be forever loved and deeply missed.
