Mary Alice Bonsack

Eddyville, NE – Mary Alice Bonsack age 62, of Eddyville, NE passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the Kearney Regional Hospital.

Mary Alice Bonack was born on November 25, 1963, to Bernard and Harriet (Pracht) Bonsack at the Callaway Hospital in Callaway, NE. She received her education at Lomax and later Sumner. Graduating in 1982. The family spent 15 years farming in the Oconto area. In 1978, they moved to Eddyville. Mary worked at Tub’s Pub in Sumner as a waitress for more than forty years. Mary enjoyed garage sales, "Junk Jaunt", and her dogs. She loved her friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents and sister Karla.

Mary is survived by her sister Nora Jean Bonsack of Eddyville and brother Ray Paul Bonsack of Lexington.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the Lone Tree Cemetery in Weissert, NE. Memorials are suggested to the family. A visitation and time to greet the family will be held on Tuesday, September 1st, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at Govier Brothers Mortuary. Govier Brothers Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
