Linda Marie Kastens

Linda Marie (Lynch) Kastens, age 76 of Anselmo, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025.

Linda was born on April 21, 1949, in Arnold, NE, to Lawerence and Doris (Shields) Lynch. She grew up in Arnold and graduated from Arnold High School in 1967. Linda married the love of her life, Larry Kastens, on May 23, 1974, and they had three children, Lori, Lonnie & Lynnett.

Linda worked at Becton Dickinson in Broken Bow for several years. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, garage sales, camping, and spending time with family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be missed by many.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Lawerence and Doris, infant brother Ronnie, & sister Kathy Lynch.

Linda is survived by husband Larry, children, Lori (Shannon) Klein, Lonnie (Carmen) Kastens, Lynnett (Brandon) Paneitz, grandchildren, Taya, Kayley, Kaden & Trevin Klein, Andrew, & Benjamin Kastens & Marie and Simon Paneitz, sisters, Karolyn Duponcheel, & Kitty (Bill) Vogel, stepbrothers Duane (Carolyn) Bowers, Glen (Cathy) Bowers, and Gary (Linda) Bowers, and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 10:30 AM at St. Anselm’s Catholic Church in Anselmo with Father Jim Hunt officiating. A register book may be signed at Govier Brothers Mortuary on Monday, April 28th, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM A visitation and time to greet the family will be held on Monday, from 5:00-7:00 PM at St. Anselm’s Catholic Church in Anselmo.
