James Edward “Jim” Hickey, age 81, of Tryon, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2026. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 10:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Stapleton, NE with burial at St. John’s Cemetery in Stapleton. Rosary recited prior at 10AM. In lieu of flowers, honor Jim’s memory in your own meaningful way. Govier Brothers Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
