Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Sargent Community Center in Sargent, NE. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery—lunch to follow at the Sargent Community Center. Memorials are suggested to the Sargent American Legion Auxiliary or drop off or mail memorials to First National Bank of Sargent, PO Box 130, Sargent, NE 68874. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27th, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Church of Christ in Sargent. “Jerry has requested that everyone dress casually, like he would have seen them around town.” Govier Brothers Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
