Jeri K. Jones, age 65, of Broken Bow, Nebraska, passed away at home on November 1, 2026.

Jeri was born on November 5, 1960, in Lincoln, Nebraska, to Larry and Donna (Zentz) Fisher. She was the oldest of three children.

On November 2, 1984, Jeri married the love of her life, Randy, in Broken Bow, Nebraska. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised three children. Throughout the years, Jeri's greatest joy was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren and found happiness in the little things that made a house feel like home.

Jeri had a love for cooking and was happiest when she was preparing meals for the people she loved. She enjoyed trying new recipes, gardening, researching her family's genealogy, and crocheting special gifts for her grandchildren. Whether she was tending to her garden, working on a new crochet project, or spending time with Randy, she found joy in the things closest to her heart.

To her grandchildren, she was simply Nana, and there was no one quite like her. Nana never told her grandchildren “No." At Nana and Papa's house, the grandkids made the rules. Her home was a place filled with love, laughter, good food, and memories that will be treasured for generations. She always made sure her grandchildren knew how loved they were, and her love for them was truly endless.

Jeri was blessed with nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, with another great-grandbaby expected in May. Her family was her greatest accomplishment and the legacy she leaves behind.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Randy Jones; her parents, Larry and Donna Fisher of Broken Bow, Nebraska; her brothers, Wayne Fisher of Broken Bow, Nebraska, and Bruce (Debbie) Fisher of Comstock, Nebraska; Brother-in-law Rick (Dee) Jones of Broken Bow; Sister-in-law Jody (Anthony) Dennis of Berwyn; and her three children: Amber Jones and special friend Amber Covey of Oxford; Jeromy (Larissia) Jones of Gibbon; and Teresa Jones (Bob Davis) of New Port Richey, Florida.

She also leaves behind eight of her grandchildren: Caleb, Bailey, Chloe, Justin, Landon, Ashton, and Brishan (Cass); and her five great-grandchildren, Astrid, Milo, Saelem, Sevynn, and Narcissa, with one more little blessing on the way, as well as multiple nieces and nephews.

Jeri was preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Elijah, and her parents-in-law, Darrell and Marie Jones.

Jeri's love will live on in the meals made from her recipes, the gardens she tended, the handmade gifts she crocheted, and the countless memories she created with the people she loved most. Her family will forever carry a piece of her with them, finding comfort in the traditions she passed down and the love she gave so freely.

She will be deeply missed, endlessly loved, and forever remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, proud Nana, and the heart of her family.

Private Graveside Services will be held at Douglas Grove Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Family for future designation. Govier Brothers Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Online words of remembrance or condolences may be left at www.govierbrothers.com
