James Turner age 86 of Broken Bow, NE passed away March 5, 2022 at his home in Broken Bow, NE Funeral service will be Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 10:30 am at Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow, NE. Burial will be in the Mason City Cemetery with Military Honors. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 11th from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm with family greeting 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Govier Brothers Mortuary. Govier Brothers Mortuary are in charge of arrangements. James is survived by his wife Julie of Broken Bow, children: Lona Ferguson of Broken Bow, Frank Winder of Lincoln, and Angela Winder of Broken Bow, eight grandchildren: Josh Ferguson of Broken Bow, Krista Evans of Eustis, David McAlevey of Broken Bow, Tyler Winder of Hastings, Victoria Valdez of Broken Bow, Maria Valdez of Broken Bow, Natasha Winder of Hastings, and Luis Valdez of Broken Bow, four great grandchildren: Alex, Abbey, Theo, and Joe, and one great-great grandchild Paisley, James is preceded in death by his parents Joseph R. and Wilna (McCleery) Turner, two sisters, and two brothers.
