Harold Koch

Broken Bow, NE- Harold E. Koch age 81 of Broken Bow, died Friday, May 30, 2025, at the Jennie Melham Medical Center after a brief illness.

Harold requested cremation. Private family memorial services for Harold will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery. Harold Edward Koch was born on September 24, 1943, at Callaway, NE to Harold John and Mable Viola (Reynolds) Koch. Harold graduated from Broken Bow High School in 1962. Harold served in the Nebraska National Guard. Harold always worked ranch and farming jobs. He worked in the Sandhills of Nebraska before returning to Broken Bow and later retired from Adams Land and Cattle Company.

Harold enjoyed people watching.

Harold is survived by his sister Barbara Bacon of Waterloo, IA, three nieces, and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Charles, a brother Floyd, an infant brother, and “Gilbert” the goat.
