Douglas Lawrence Jones age 55, formerly of Broken Bow, NE passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019, at the Fullerton Care & Rehabilitation Center in Fullerton, NE.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at 11:00 AM, at Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow, NE with Pastor Doug Saner officiating. Visitation will be Friday, January 18, 2019, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM with family greeting 6:00 to 7:00 PM at Govier Brothers Mortuary. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Township Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Family of Doug Jones. Govier Brothers Mortuary are in charge of arrangements. Online condolences can be left at www.govierbrothers.com

Doug was born October 28, 1963, in Broken Bow, NE to Donald and Margie (Ondrak) Jones. Doug attended and graduated from the Broken Bow High School in 1982. Doug married Teresa Ferguson and then later divorced. Doug worked as an Auto mechanic at Plum Creek Motors in Lexington, NE, and Tehrani Motor Co in Valentine, NE, was a ranch hand at the Box T Ranch in Valentine, NE and the White Stone Crabs Ranch in Gordon, NE. Doug loved working outdoors, animals, tinkering with engines, hunting, fishing, and above all spending time with his family.

Doug is survived by son Adam (Abigayle) Jones of Danbury, NE, daughter Ashley Jones of Sidney, NE, father Don (Shirley) Jones of Ansley, NE, sisters Carla (Bud) Clark of Broken Bow, NE, Kristi Catlett of Broken Bow, brothers Casey (Korrena) Jones of Broken Bow, NE, Josh Jones and finance Shawna of Broken Bow, NE, granddaughters Hope and Grace Jones, and Jasmine Jones.

Doug is preceded in death by his grandparents, mother Margie, and sister Candy.
