Donald L Fair

Donald L. Fair age 57 of Broken Bow, NE passed away March 14, 2018, at the Broken Bow Care and Rehab in Broken Bow, NE. A celebration of Life Services will be Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 1:00 pm at the 4-H Building in Broken Bow, NE.             Donnie was born July 11, 1960, in Broken Bow, NE to Lawrence “Jim” and Alice (Pomplun) Fair. He attended Broken Bow School graduating in 1979. Donnie graduated from Curtis with a Horticulture degree in 1981.             Donnie worked at Broken Bow Floral, Hill Top Nursery, and All Green Nursery. Then Donnie decided to become an over the road truck driver.             Donnie loved his big family. He thoroughly enjoyed family gatherings, big or small. Donnie enjoyed animals, especially family, pets AJ, Cricket, Lucky, and Peanut. He was always playing pranks and had many jokes to tell. Everyone had to watch out for his shenanigans. Donnie enjoyed home-cooked meals, spending time with friends and flower. Donnie spent countless hours planting a variety of flowers and plants in his mother’s yard. All his nephews and nieces, great, great and great were very important to him. Donnie will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.             Survivors include brothers Leland Fair of Florida, Edwin, Gary and Terry Satchell of Texas and Allan Satchell of Tennessee. Sisters Bette Mae Peterson of Oregon, Elaine Eberhart of Illinois, Jean Harding of Bennington, NE, Jackie Larson of Elkhorn, NE, Carolyn Bubak of Kearney, NE, Charlene Modia of Louisiana, Linda Rynearson of Mason City, NE and Marlene Fix of Omaha, NE and a host of Uncles, Aunts, great, great and great nieces and nephews, countless extended family, friends and truck driving buddies.             Donnie was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Alice Fair. Brothers Max, Karl, David, John, and Ward Fair, Lyle, Marvin and Junior Satchell. Sisters Rose Green, Letha Stratton, Darlene Timperley, Geraldine Satchell and Shirley Andersen.
