Broken Bow, NE- Darlene J. Mattox age 89 of Broken Bow died Friday August 28, 2026, at the Callaway District Hospital.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday September 2, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow. A visitation will be held one hour before the service at Govier Brothers. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Quality Senior Village for handicap ramp improvements. Darlene lived at QSV for the last year and a half of her life. The staff and residents became her extended family.
