Dan Johnson

Daniel D Johnson “Danny” age 69 of Broken Bow, Nebraska passed away August 18^th, 2022, in Broken Bow. Dan was born in Broken Bow, Nebraska in 1952. He graduated from Ansley, NE in 1970. He then pursued his career working for Custer Public Power starting in 1973 and retired in 2015.

Dan was married to Lynne for 43 beautiful years and had 2 children and 7 grandchildren. Dan enjoyed spending time at the lake and was always eager to help friends and family with projects that needed his attention to detail.  Grandkids favorite saying. “If Papa can’t fix it no one can fix it”.

Dan is survived by his wife Lynne, a brother Butch, sister Sandy, sons Eric (Angie) Johnson, their children Isabel, Kaleb and Aiden, and Robbie (Tami) Johnson, and their children Savannah, Toby, Kaleigh, and Taylor, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dan was proceeded in death by his parents Ernest and Lillian Johnson and a sister Erlene Brink.

Family will be having a private Celebration of Life for Dan. In lieu of flowers for Dan please send donations to Robbie Johnson at 79850 Rd 450 Berwyn, NE 68814, as all memorial donations will be given to the Broken Bow EMT and/or Broken Bow Volunteer Fire Department.
