Cameron Hall

January 29, 1939 — December 22, 2021

Cameron Dee Hall, age 82, of Dunning, NE passed away December 22, 2021, at the Great Plains Health Hospital in North Platte, NE.

Cam was born January 29, 1939, in Arnold, NE to Cameron K. and Fern (Schroeder) Hall. Then living in a sod house for his first 10 years. He attended Hall Country School and was graduated from Arnold High School in 1957.

After high school, Cam worked as a draftsman in Denver CO. Then entering into the nursery and landscaping business in Denver and Wheatland WY. Cams next venture was in the equipment rental and firearms business. He retired to Arnold NE in 2000.

Cam married Karen Franssen in 1959 but later divorced. He married Gladys Leader in 1973.

Cameron is survived by companion Betty Yeargain; brothers Ellis Hall (Colleen) and Lynn Hall; Sisters Larraine Holm, Paula Becker (Bob), Marla Kraut, Arlene Blagdon, and Nelda Lynn (Roy); daughter Joeleen K. Hernandez (David); sons William J. “B.J.” Leader (Terry), Frank K. “Hoss” Hall (Jan), Ronald C.”R.C.” Leader (Beth), Cameron K. Hall (Becky); 10 grandchildren (Kindra, Krispen, Sarita, Billy, Caleb, Heather, Cody, Jessi, Chelsi, Corey; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Cameron was preceded in death by both parents, wife Gladys and daughter Donna Leader.

Cam enjoyed hunting, shooting, gold mining in Wyoming and California, working with equipment and playing cards. All children were a real joy to Cameron, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed pulling pranks and making people laugh. Having never met a stranger, cam enjoyed talking to friends, new and old.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at the Arnold Baptist Church in Arnold Nebraska April 2, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Frank Scott officiating. Celebration will be livestreamed at www.govierbrothers.com
