Halsey, NE- Ronald “Ronnie” Edwards age 65 of Halsey, died Tuesday October 16, 2012, near Halsey, NE.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday October 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the United Church of Christ in Purdum with Reverend Judy Cook officiating. Memorials have been established to the family. Govier Bros. Mortuary of Broken Bow is in charge of the arrangements.

Ronald C. Edwards was born on December 28, 1946 at Pueblo, CO to Donald and Una (Hardin) Edwards. He was married on May 16, 1969 to Carolyn Sue Roberts.

Ronnie is survived by his wife Carolyn of Halsey, daughters Delaine (Scott) Maxon of Minden, Vicki (Sid) Collins of North Platte, and Stefanie Edwards of Broken Bow, five grandsons, 3 granddaughters, 5 step grandsons, 1 step granddaughter and 6 step great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother Raymond (Sherry) Edwards of Hillsboro, KS, and a sister Susan Jacobs of Pueblo, CO.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Daniel Edwards.
